Finally a Local

Yesterday a couple came up to me and asked directions to the airport.  I realized at that moment that I really am settled into Copenhagen.  Not only was I approached at all, as in I look like a local!, but in the fact that I was able to tell them accurate directions!  They also had to start by asking if I spoke English!

Yesterday I also went to a football game, this is the European football meaning soccer of course!  Our seats were really high up but it was such a fun experience!

On saturday night we had a Tour de Chambre on my hall in the kollegium!  The theme was books, and each persons has a different book for their room with a drink, game, and music/decorations/atmosphere that goes along with it!  I was going to pick harry potter, but upon hearing that another girl was doing it, which she ended up not, switched to clockwork orange because I had a really good idea for the drink!  I made hot chocolate and Baileys (goes along with the moloko in the book) and dressed up like Alex, with the crazy eye makeup, and had remixes of Beethoven paying in the background.  Although it's kind of a creepy book, I really enjoyed my theme!  The party lasted until 4am, all without stepping a foot outside of our hallway!

Im also making an American meal for the danes on my hall tomorrow, I decided to go with a gourmet Macaroni and Cheese!

pictures to come on all of the above
